Old Soul Girl Fashion
I have always loved fashion! I can still remember when I was 13 and I got my first paycheck, I quickly learned the words "layaway". I love reading blogs and articles about clothing but I quickly become disheartened when the shoes are designer, or the outfits are not practical for cold/humid, Midwest living. No Midwest woman is going to scrape 3 inches of snow off her car in Louboutin's. So I thought I would start a blog that shows real style for all women of all shapes and budget.
Why Old Soul?
For as long as I can remember my Mom has said I came out of the womb an adult, at 3 I was going on 30. I have always felt older than the skin I am in. In fashion I tend to gravitate towards the classics and I tend to go for a vintage look, without looking like I stepped off a stage. Full head to toe vintage doesn't work for me as I am a tall, curvy gal, and women of the past were not. My old soul I feel defines my personality, as well as, directs my choices in life.
